An award winning Facility just minutes from downtown Louisville! Rivers Edge Nursing and Rehab’s Prospect location is convenient to east Jefferson County and Oldham County. The large private and semi-private rooms offer all the amenities of quality health care in a warm, homelike setting. We pride ourselves on the stability and longevity of our staff, as well as the finest expertise in nursing care. Our Therapy department is equipped to include Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies for short term rehab. “Longer Term Rehab” is also available for residents who need a slower pace from the 20 day short term rehab stay. Under the guidance of a Registered Dietician, our residents enjoy open dining approach to meals that include selective menus for nutritious, home-cooked meals in a large dining room that promotes a social environment. Rivers Edge offers 24-hour pharmacy services, a full time Social Worker, housekeeping and linen services, dental, barber and beauty shop services. Our residents enjoy our full range of activities, including various religious services and special outings within the community. Two comfortable resident activity rooms afford space for residents to pursue a wide range of interests as a group or individually. Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance and private pay are all acceptable pay sources. Hospice Services and Respite Care is also available.
